The Mesilla Valley Fine Arts Gallery located at 2470-A Calle de Guadalupe, Mesilla, New Mexico, across from the Fountain Theatre, will feature two artists for the month of August: Sue Ann Glenn and Frank Rimbach. Sue Ann, a unique watercolorist, brings to life ordinary objects and scenes. She holds an Art Education course from Central Michigan University, she taught elementary art for 15 years in a large Michigan school system. After 32 years of teaching, she retired to focus full time on her watercolors. FRANK earned his Master of Fine Arts from New Mexico State University. He has taught at Central Texas College and at El Paso Community College. His work can be found at Mesilla Valley Fine Arts Gallery and in private collections. In addition, the 30 artists of the Gallery offer art in various media, which include original paintings of: oil, acrylics, pastels, watercolor, fused glass art jewelry, unique one-of-a-kind woodturnings, stained glass, photography, ceramics, mixed media, unusual decorated gourds, handmade textile weavings, art tile, fiber art, affordable lampwork glass beads and ceramic components also antique African trade beads, gemstones, recycled components, felt and Czech glass, colored pencil, charcoal, pen and ink drawings, prints, cards, and miniature paintings.
